How to Advertise Your Auto Repair Shop Online Locally – Part II

Picture the Internet as a very large Spider Web:

One of the best ways to describe how the Internet can help attract more new customers to your shop is to imagine it as a giant spider web. The customer is the spider at the center of that web, looking to feed his/her need. The more places you spread yourself all over that web, the better chances you have for that customer to come and get you. How do you distribute your message all over that web? Implementing all the possible ways that Universal Search and Real Time Search offers.

The first two most important free items that you need to take advantage of are, Universal Search and Real Time Search.

The impressive part of Universal Search, as well as Real Time Search, is that most of the elements that will help consumers find your shop, can be easily implemented!

1. Universal Search was started by Google back in May 2007. Soon thereafter, Yahoo and MSN (now BING) followed suit with their own iterations of it. A brief description without using all    the technical jargon used on Search Engine Marketing (mostly refer to as SEM) is that anything you post, or place, on the Web, will help you reach great positioning in all major search engines. If it is done properly and directly reflects what your business is all about, it will eventually appear in the search engine‘s  front page results, whenever consumers query (search) for the specific terms that you are targeting. In our case, auto repair – service and your city.
